The Live Update feature is a server-based synchronization method designed to deliver real-time updates for your trading account. All processing occurs directly on Myfxbook servers, ensuring maximum accuracy, stability, and speed.
How Live Update Works
Live Update is a server-based synchronization method that provides immediate updates for your trading account. All processing is performed on Myfxbook servers, allowing:
- Real-time processing of trades, history, orders, and statistics
- Uninterrupted updates, even when your terminal is closed
- Accurate, up-to-date information displayed across your account metrics
- No local installation or ongoing platform activity required
With Live Update, your data is always current and accurately reflects your latest activity.
Please note: Real-time Live Update is available on the website, while the mobile app does not currently support it; live updates in the app are planned and will be included in the next major version releases.
The Live Update Subscription
The Live Update subscription is billed yearly at $60 and can be applied to one account at a time. It can be transferred to another account in your portfolio if needed, with transfers limited to one per 24 hours. If you wish to use Live Update on multiple accounts simultaneously, each account requires a separate subscription.
How to Connect Your Account Using Live Update
Follow these steps to connect your account through the Live Update method:
- Navigate to your Portfolio tab
- Click Add Account
- Select MetaTrader 4 Live Update (or the platform labeled with “Live Update”)
- You will be redirected to the payment page
- Choose the subscription type that fits your needs
- Click Continue and follow the on-screen instructions to apply the subscription to an existing account or add a new one
You can also connect through the settings page:
- Open https://www.myfxbook.com/settings
- Select the Accounts tab
- Click Add Account
- Select the platform with the Live Update label and proceed with subscription activation
